Neighbors helping neighbors
Neighborhood Network Services started in 1996 as a small referral group among friends and clients of The Wolfe Team. Word spread quickly — people were tired of gambling on an unknown plumber, electrician, or accountant, and wanted recommendations they could actually trust. Thirty years later, that same idea has grown into a network of roughly 30 local businesses, each one personally vouched for by the neighbors who use them.
Membership is by invitation only, and we keep it to one business per category — so there's never a conflict of interest, just one trusted name per service. Members meet monthly to trade referrals, hear from a fellow business owner, and talk through whatever challenges neighbors are running into. It's simple, old-fashioned word of mouth — just organized enough to make sure it actually works.
Sandy Wolfe, of The Wolfe Team at Keller Williams, founded the network in 1996 after realizing how many clients and friends were asking for trustworthy business recommendations. Three decades later, she still runs it today alongside her son, Jeff Wolfe, keeping the group going strong — meeting monthly to trade referrals and keep every member accountable to the neighborhood.
